Monsoon Salon was born from a simple conviction — that Kolkata deserves a beauty destination where craft, care, and luxury converge without compromise.
The Beginning
Monsoon was founded in 2018 in Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata — not as another salon, but as a quiet protest against mediocrity in personal care. Our founder, Rina Chakraborty, spent over a decade in London and Mumbai learning that true luxury isn't about opulence; it's about precision, patience, and an unwavering refusal to cut corners.
From the organic botanicals in our hair treatments to the autoclaved instruments in every service, each detail at Monsoon reflects a commitment to doing things properly. We hire slowly, train relentlessly, and invest in products that we'd use on ourselves — because we do.
